UK Visa Eligibility Checker
Answer a few questions to get your readiness score
How to Use Our UK Visa Eligibility Checker
We designed this tool to provide a quick, preliminary assessment of your application readiness based on current 2026 UKVI rules. It filters your profile through the same logic used by visa officers to determine if a case is straightforward or high-risk.
Follow these three steps to get your risk score:
- Select Your Purpose: Choose the primary reason for your trip, such as tourism, visiting family, or business. This sets the baseline for the documents you need.
- Answer Compliance Questions: Honest answers regarding your financial status and previous immigration history are necessary for an accurate result. The tool does not store this data permanently.
- Review Your Assessment: The tool generates an immediate score. This result tells you if you are ready to apply or if your case requires a specific strategy to avoid refusal.
Key Factors That Determine Your UK Visa Eligibility
Our algorithm evaluates your profile based on three core pillars. These are the specific areas UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) scrutinizes when deciding to grant or refuse a visitor visa.
Financial Solvency and Income Origin
You must prove you can afford the trip without accessing public funds. The tool assesses the clarity of your income. Applicants with regular, banked income (salaries or dividends) score higher than those relying on cash or sporadic mobile money transfers, which UKVI considers high-risk.
Strong Ties to Kenya
The most common reason for refusal is the failure to prove you will leave the UK at the end of your visit. Our checker looks for "anchors" such as property ownership, stable employment, family responsibilities, or ongoing studies. A lack of these ties significantly lowers your eligibility score.
Immigration History
Your track record matters. A clean travel history improves your score. Conversely, previous refusals, deportations, or overstays in the UK, USA, Schengen Area, or Commonwealth countries act as major red flags. The tool adjusts your risk level to reflect the complexity these issues add to your application.
Understanding Your Eligibility Risk Score
The tool provides one of three results. Understanding what these mean helps you choose the right support path.
High Eligibility (Green)
This result indicates a straightforward profile. You likely have stable income, clear ties to Kenya, and no negative immigration history. Your main task is to ensure your documentation is technically accurate and your form is error-free.
Caution: Strategy Needed (Yellow)
This score suggests you can apply, but your case has specific weaknesses. Common triggers include third-party sponsorship, self-employment with irregular banking, or a single previous refusal. You need a specialized cover letter and a document strategy to explain these gaps to the visa officer.
High Risk (Red)
A high-risk result means a standard application will likely fail. This often results from multiple past refusals, unemployment, or a complete lack of financial evidence. In these cases, applying immediately is not recommended. A detailed professional review is necessary to determine if a credible application is even possible.
Next Steps Based on Your Result
The eligibility checker is a diagnostic tool, not a guarantee of a visa. Once you have your score, you should take the appropriate action to secure your visa.
